A couple of recent Galactica tidbits:

∴ Unofficial Battlestar Blog digs up awesome BSG-themed mod for Freespace 2

I just got a PC (my first), so I’m looking forward to trying this mod out.

∴ SciFi plans new “Lowdown” for January 2 at 10 p.m. Eastern/Pacific

Maybe we’ll get a new Galactica drink! (I’m still recovering from the Galactica shooter I made with Hober and Kirin.)

∴ AFI selects Galactica as one of its 10 top television programs of the year

Nice to see Galactica getting some critical recognition. Other selections included 24, Deadwood, Lost, Veronica Mars, Grey’s Anatomy, and others.

∴ Dark Thoughts has posted a few more shots from “Resurrection Ship”

7 more shots. All of them are reasonably spoiler-free.

∴ IMDB adds a trivia page to the Galactica series listing

There’s some pretty interesting stuff in this list. I especially like the one about how the mirror in Adama’s bathroom is made by IKEA and officially named Frack. Don’t believe me? Here’s one on Ebay.

This has been covered elsewhere, but there are some nice pics of the crew and set. The shot of Jamie Bamber is intriguing. Is this the standard rig for shooting viper scenes? Or does it hint at something special happening in a future episode?
